Every service involves the following process:
- The watch is dismantled, cleaned using the latest equipment and inspected for any wear or rust.
- Any worn parts needed are ordered and replaced as required.
- The movement is reassembled, lubricated using the appropriate oils and greases, and all tolerances checked and adjusted as necessary.
- The movement is checked for timekeeping.
- The dial is checked to remove any dust and accumulated dirt, or repainted on request, before refitting.
- The hands are checked before replacement, and repainted or luminised as necessary.
- The watch case and bracelet are cleaned ultrasonically, and polished to a high standard.
- Worn buttons, pushers and crowns are replaced, using original parts when available.
- All scratched, cracked and worn perspex glasses are replaced, Where needed Sapphire glasses will be an optional extra.
- The watch movement is replaced in the case, and timekeeping checked and adjusted.
- The case back is refitted, replacing worn seals as needed.
- Any water-resistant watches will be pressure tested to ensure they maintain their water resistant capabilities
- The timepiece will then be checked for timekeeping over a couple of days, and any final adjustments made.
- All service and overhauls come with a minimum 12 month guarantee.
